WHAT WILL MY CHILD BE DOING THIS SUMMER?

Summer is a fun time to relax and enjoy a slower pace of learning. We will focus on being outdoors, playing and exploring together. There will be outdoor picnics, water play, the occasional ice cream treat and more.

Teachers will review letters, numbers and name recognition and writing along with social skills to prepare them for going to school in the fall.

Each school day's format includes free choice, large group circle time, small group time, snack time, lunch time and outside play on our enclosed and expansive playground.

Each Month will include a fun, summer theme: TBA IN MAY

  • JUNE'S Theme:

  • JULY'S Theme:

  • AUGUST'S Theme:

CURRICULUM

  • The curriculum for our class includes activities that center on math, science, music, art, cooking, oral language skills, social skills, and large & small motor skill development. Dramatic play is also included.

  • Small group activities are planned for the children's age and are developmentally appropriate.

  • In addition, we provide opportunities for spiritual development. Children will learn simple Bible stories, songs, and truths about God’s love and kindness.
